PADI II Course Description:

In this companion course to PADI I, we will perform open water certifications (PADI II) at Homestead Crater, a 94-degree hot water spring located near Heber City, Utah. PADI or similar national recognized certification is required in order to register for this class. This class requires approximately seven-hour drive and an overnight stay in Heber City. The hotel stay, transportation and meals are NOT included the price of certification. Scuba equipment and crater entrance fee are included in the cost of the class. Students must provide their own mask, snorkel and fins. The benefits of going to the crater are clear warm water and an opportunity to socialize with your fellow students and the instructor.

During the first phase of the scuba certification process your instructor will review the information you learned from the course textbook and DVD in our classroom, and then teach you the necessary water skills in our pool. Students must be able to snorkel 300 yards and tread water for 10 minutes, something that even novice swimmers can accomplish with relative ease. Students 10-14 years of age may complete a junior certification (limit of two 10-14 year olds per class). Our goal is that every student becomes a safe, comfortable and confident diver. Scuba equipment provided. Students must provide their own mask, snorkel and fins.
